Neighbor's Tree -- Winter
I have not had the
opportunity to get out and sketch, so I have returned to a favorite subject, my neighbor's backyard tree. Even without the lush greenery of
Spring/Summer it is still a majestic subject.
I think I might paint a picture of this tree every month as a season study.

Love the sponge work and remain an enormous fan of the reds you use. :) Can we see a triptych (or some sort of polyptych)? It would be neat to see a seasonal transformation as well as how you as an artist have changed how you depict something over time. In case you're wondering, no, I didn't know the word polyptych before this....
